Lorde returns with new music for the first time in almost half a decade.

After teasing the release in various novel ways over the past week – including a series of street displays involving vintage cars and green smoke – Lorde has dropped her first single in four years, ‘Green Light’.

After the track dropped, she revealed it comes from a new album Melodrama, although disclosed no further details about a release date or collaborators. She did, however, share the album art – a painting by Sam McKinniss, which you can see below.
