Sun Ra, UGK, Soulwax and The Atomic Bomb Band are all featured on the male-heavy list.

A list purportedly revealing some of Record Store Day’s 2017 releases has leaked via Reddit and the Vinyl Collective forum.

There’s a depressing lack of female artists and yet again it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack, but we’ve sifted through the mountain of crap to pull out a few shiny things.

Some decent exclusives this year include Mica Levi’s Jackie score, The Atomic Bomb Band performing the Music of William Onyeabor, Klaus Dinger & preJapandorf’s 2000! EP, Soulwax’s Belgica soundtrack, Sun Ra’s Janus LP on psychedelic swirl vinyl, a 12″ picture disc of Toto’s ‘Africa’ and UGK’s Too Hard To Swallow LP on clear vinyl.

Other notable releases include Danny Brown’s Atrocity Exhibition cut ‘Ain’t It Funny’, Darkthrone’s Arctic Thunder LP, a Run the Jewels RSD record tote bag and Hudson Mohawke’s Watch Dogs 2 soundtrack.

The list of compilations looks pretty promising too, with highlights like Girls In The Garage: Oriental Special Volume 9 and Soul Jazz’s Nigeria Soul Power 70: Afro-Funk Afro-Rock Afro-Disco.

There’s also a “pot-scented” version of Peter Tosh’s ‘Legalize It’, a 7″ of Corey Feldman’s ‘Go 4 It’ featuring Snoop Dogg and Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz on hot pink, which you can’t deny you need like, right now. Also, memba Marcy Playground?! The band’s debut self-titled 1997 LP is apparently coming to vinyl for the first time ever.

Visit the Reddit thread for the full list. RSD takes places on April 22.

According to a representative for Record Store Day, this is not a definitive list of the UK’s releases.
