“I will do anything to defend the honor of my brothers and sisters.”

Princess Nokia has spoken out after she was videoed throwing soup in a man’s face on a New York subway train, during an alleged racist rant.

The Afro-Nuyorican rapper was featured in video footage that was shared to the Baller Alert Twitter account last night (October 10), which quickly went viral.

Princess Nokia, real name Destiny Frasqueri, has since tweeted in response, claiming that “this bigot called a group of teenage boys “niggers” on the train so I stood up and slapped him.”

Frasqueri said that she “kicked him off the train,” adding: “I will do anything to defend the honor of my brothers and sisters #blacklivesmatter.” See the full string of tweets below.

Princess Nokia’s deluxe 1992 mixtape was released on Rough Trade last month.

FACT has contacted Princess Nokia for further comment.
