Zomby has signed to 4AD.
On May 10, the elusive UK producer will issue the track ‘Natalia’s Song’ on a limited edition 10″ via his new label. The track was first aired on Burial and Kode9’s 2010 radio mix, and its releases as a single heralds a new Zomby album coming on 4AD later this year. It will be his first “proper” LP since his 2008 debut for Werk Discs, the hardcore tribute Where Were U in ’92?.
4AD is a division of Beggars Group, and though it’s name will forever be associated with the dream-pop sounds of This Mortal Coil, Cocteau Twins et al, these days it’s home to a wide range of acts including Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti and Gang Gang Dance.
