Bonobo – ‘Kiara’ (Funkineven Remix)

Funkineven’s preoccupation with acid jams over the last year has earned him a slew of new fans, including the prodigal youngster Kyle Hall, and with a new imprint in the form of Apron Records this rougher, nastier sound will no doubt keep coming.

However, he starts 2012 returning somewhat to his beginnings, remixing Bonobo’s single ‘Kiara’ for Ninja Tune in a synth-boogie style much closer to his first single. Check out a clip here to whet your appetite – the full release may apparently be vinyl only.
