Alaska-born rock group Portugal. The Man (whose name, to be fair, always seemed like an inferior Horse the Band to FACT)’s new single has been remixed by none other than RZA, the mastermind producer behind the Wu Tang Clan.
The story simply goes that “PTM are big Wu-Tang fans, and they asked RZA and he said yes.” Given that the band are signed to Atlantic, you’ve got to think there’s at least a way in there. But who knows – maybe one of them served him the right cappuccino at the right time. Either way, you can stream the results below.
