Two particularly special guests stopped by at Jools Holland’s musical panopticon yesterday evening. 

Top of the bill was harrowed R&B star The Weeknd making his live television debut. Swathed in blue light, Abel Tesfaye blitzed through a (really rather stunning) rendition of House Of Balloons‘ ‘Wicked Games’. He was joined by another world-beating crooner, Lana Del Rey, who performed the oft-remixed ‘Ride’.
