Watch the video for Jhené Aiko's latest song, 'Burning Man (3:16 PM)'

The Black Hippy collaborator shares one of her most upbeat offerings yet.

Last year, Aiko dedicated ‘3:16AM’ to her brother, who died at that exact time after a two year bout with brain cancer. ‘Burning Man (3:16PM)’ makes a titular nod to the tribute, but stands as its polar opposite.

The song is a lilting, featherlight celebration of life and its trivialities, while the video (shot by collaborator Topshelf Junior) has that “last days of summer” feel, idealizing the desert freak fest that is Burning Man. Aiko’s debut album, Souled Out, is expected in 2013.
