Huddersfield dance music veteran DJ Q has announced an October tour of the UK.

Q emerged as part of the bassline house explosion of the mid-’00s, though unlike many of the producers that came to prominence in that period, he retains an audience outside that circuit, and his recent releases have drawn as much from garage, grime and pop music as they have bassline.

With a new EP due on October 15 through AC Slater’s Party Like Us label, and his debut album to follow on Local Action later in the year, Q’s announced a series of dates for the following month.
