Mogwai will celebrate their 20th anniversary this year by curating six shows at London’s Roundhouse.

The Glasgow heroes headline two of the gigs themselves on June 24-25, with support from reunited ’90s punk outfit Prolapse with Sound of Yell on the opening night and ghostly electronic producer Forest Swords with Sacred Paws the next.

They’ve picked Public Enemy as the first of the guest headliners on June 27, with special guests still to be announced, while Wu-Tang wordsmith GZA plays on June 28 supported by post-rock icons Tortoise, Loop, Lightning Bolt and Mugstar, which is really quite the bill.

On June 30, the reactivated Godspeed You! Black Emperor will shake the foundations of the former rail engine shed with support from Geoff Barrow’s motorik unit Beak>, and on July 5 the season closes with East Kilbride’s iconic noise-pop band The Jesus and Mary Chain playing Psychocandy in full, supported by Bardo Pond.

Tickets for all the shows are on sale now from the Roundhouse in conjunction with ATP, which recently announced a reboot of its famous ATP holiday camps.

Mogwai have also made a Spotify playlist featuring a bunch of the acts appearing during the season. [via Guardian]
