12-string guitarist James Blackshaw has announced a series of UK dates for May.

Blackshaw, whose last album The Glass Bead Game was released on Michael Gira’s Young God label last year, and who is currently on tour in the US (see myspace for details), will perform at the Matt Groening curated ATP festival on May 7.

He will then make six appearances on the Kept Impulses tour, with Hauschka and Nancy Elizabeth. The three artists will play together, and also perform solo performances and [in London] perform with backing from a hand-picked chamber ensemble.
