Ex-Marcia Blaine School for Girls man The Village Orchestra will release a new album this summer, titled Amid the Blaze of Noon.
It will be released via the Highpoint Lowlife label on CD, and also as a limited DVD with visuals by Bryan/Beaker.
The album takes the form of one long piece, that claims to span a “psychogeographic vision of London, with a particular focus in and around the Dalston area, yet will be composed of different passages, some more beat orientated, others more abstract, blurring the boundaires between process and action, digital manipulation and field recording, melody and noise.”
