The basement of London’s CAMP is fast becoming one of our favourite venues, a good old-fashioned, intimate sweat box that has proven to be as perfect a setting for a hypnotic James Ferraro live set as a rapturous Theo Parrish DJ outing.

On Saturday 17 July Friday 16 July, the basement plays host to a programme of next-level, bass-heavy dance music curated by Feeding Time. Headlining proceedings is Jack Dunning AKA Untold, whose tough, elasticated productions are often classified as dubstep or garage but really have more in common with the early noughties heyday of grime. As well as winning the adulation of thousands through his own work, he also operates Hemlock – the unnervingly consistent label that’s brought us seminal releases from the likes of James Blake and Pangaea. He’s joined by Glasgow’s Dam Mantle and unfortunately monikered fuzzy house types D/R/U/G/S, both performing live.

Also on the bill: FACT favourite Jam City, whose long, long-awaited debut release on Night Slugs is (surely?) imminent. Combining influences from juke, grime and DIY synthesizer music into a singular and ecstatic dancefloor sound, it’s not for nothing that we rate this kid so highly. Blog-adored remixer du jour Radiant Dragon brings up the rear with Young Turks DJs.

The night runs 9pm-4am, and entry is free before 11pm, £5 after. More information here.
