The next DJ to helm a CD for !K7’s DJ-Kicks series, following recent efforts by Kode9, Juan Maclean and James Holden, is Apparat.

Known for his love of collaboration – arguably his two best well-known albums are Orchestra of Bubbles, made with Ellen Allien and Moderat, with Modselektor – his selection for !K7 features Autechre, Martyn and T++, as well as a DJ-Kicks exclusive Apparat track. It comes out on Octovber 26.

Lee Jones, one half of My My and a superb solo producer in his own right, will mix the next instalment in Berlin’s Watergate club’s self-titled mix CD series.

Jones holds a residency at Watergate, and his CD for the club and label features new Jones solo material, a new track from My My, his collaboration with Ostgut-Ton boss Nick Hoppner, Mark Henning and more. Watergate 07 also drops in October.

Finally, Matt ‘Radio Slave’ Edwards has mixed the latest Strictly Rhythms compilation.

It’s a double CD affair, the “Downtown mix” representing a lighter house set featuring Mood II Swing and Venus, while the “Uptown mix” goes harder with tracks from Kenny Dope, Todd Terry and more. There’s also plenty of Radio Slave re-edits on both discs.

This one comes out on Oct 1.
