Elevate, a festival for “contemporary music, arts and political discourse” takes place from October 21 to 26, in Graz, Austria.
Already announced are Werk Discs boss Actress, American synth overlord Oneohtrix Point Never, noise legend Merzbow, Sandwell District lynchpins Regis and Function, NYC producer and vocalist Pursuit Grooves, deep house touchstone Terre Thaemlitz.
Elsewhere house and techno fans can feed their cravings with Claro Intellecto, Giles Smith and Altered Natives, while Mount Kimbie, Joy Orbison and Jamie XX will be representing the dubstep-inspired sound of the UK. DJ Spinn and Chrissy Murderbot will be testing Austrian audiences with Chicago’s juke house, and Emeralds, Walls and Toro y Moi will be bringing their own particular takes on alternative pop music to Graz.
