Masked-up hip-hop supervillain (MF) DOOM has announced support for his upcoming UK tour, as well as a newly added Glasgow date.

The first date takes place at Manchester’s Warehouse Project on October 13, where DOOM will be supported by Hudson Mohawke, Jamie xx (DJ set), rapper Dels, and Hoya:Hoya founders Illum Sphere and Jonny Dub. The show then rolls into London at the Brixton Academy (Oct 14), with DOOM again backed by Hudson Mohawke, Dels and Jamie xx, but this time The Herbaliser (with, uh-oh, full live band) are there to make up the numbers

The next day it’s Brighton’s Concorde 2, with Drums Eyes (loveable racket-maker DJ Scotch Egg and band), Jamie xx, Dels and Well Rounded Records bossman Donga. The most lavish moment of the tour though, comes in Bristol, when on Oct 16, DOOM will be supported by a live 9-piece band reinterpretation of DJ Shadow’s Endtroducing album. As well as Jamie xx, who we guess will be knackered by then.

The tour ends on a newly-announced Glasgow date, that’s on Oct 18 at the Arches, with support still to be confirmed.
