ATP have announced the acts for their Strange Days show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on December 31.

The New Year will be ushered in by performances from Sonic Youth and Shellac, with support from London’s Factory Floor. The show will run from 7pm-3am; tickets are priced at £40, and there are various drinks deals in place for the night itself. Tickets go on on general sale tomorrow, Wednesday 29 September.

Sonic Youth will be play a set that draws upon last year’s The Eternal LP, spliced with classics and hopefully some material from their forthcoming 17th studio album. Shellac haven’t released a full-length since 2007’s Excellent Italian Greyhound, but that’s scarcely relevant – their live shows have always been wild entities unto themselves.
