Radio 1’s late night experimental show doesn’t seem to have lost a step since changing host from Mary Anne Hobbs to Benji B, and last night’s session appears to have been one of its most rewarding yet.

Fresh from their acclaimed debut album North, Darkstar, Hyperdub’s own fully-formed band (well, them and King Midas Sound) stop in for a live session which features highlights from the album as well as John Roberts’ remix of their recent single ‘Gold’. Perhaps more exciting though, three new tracks by house and jungle legend Photek [above], titled ‘This City’, ‘Avalanche’ and ‘101’.

Update: seems like new Photek releases are scheduled for early next year, more information will come out when it’s ready.

Elsewhere you’ll find new cuts by Mala, Hype Williams, R1 Ryders and Mark Pritchard. All in all, worth checking out; it’s available to stream from the Radio 1 website for the next seven days.
