Amsterdam’s Rush Hour label has had a vintage year to say the last, and arguably its highlight was their reissue (and subsequent tour) of Virgo’s Virgo, for many the greatest house album ever made.

In February 2011, the label will follow this with Resurrection, a compilation of unreleased Virgo music from the ’80s. We don’t have a tracklist or many details past this, but we do know that the vinyl edition will be 30 tracks long, and the CD/digital release 15. Salivating yet? Yeah, us too.

Resurrection‘s not the only thing Rush Hour have planned for next year. March will see the release of a new album from hometown hero and former FACT mixer Tom Trago, titled Iris. That’ll be preceded by a taster 12″, titled ‘Shutters’.
