Several new additions to the line-up of Sónar 2011 have been made, and to the festival’s satellite events in London, Tokyo and A Coruña.

Salem (pictured) and Underworld will join the previously announced Magnetic Man in playing the both main festival (in Barcelona on June 16-18 June) and the parallel Sonar Galicia (in A Coruña on June 17-18). Artists now confirmed to play Sónar Barcelona only are Hype Williams, A-Trak, Atmosphere, Tyondai Braxton, Little Dragon, Mary Anne Hobbs (DJ) and, also previously announced, Steve Reich with Synergy Vocals and BCN216.

Buraka Som Sistema are the first act to be unveiled for A Taste of Sónar in London on March 19, while SónarSound Tokyo (Arpil 1-3) is already taking shape with confirmed sets from Battles, Flying Lotus, Kode9, Seefeel and more.
