L.E.V. or Visual Electronics Laboratory is a festival taking place in Gijón, in the autonomous Asturias region of Spain, on April 29 and 30.

Curated by the Datatron ox3F collective, this year’s edition of L.E.V. will feature live performances from King Midas Sound, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Harmonic 313, Darkstar and Herman Kolgen.

Darkstar and Kevin Martin’s King Midas Sound (pictured), both leading lights of the UK’s own Hyperdub stable, require little introduction. Jóhann Jóhannsson works at the intersection of modern classical and experimental electronics, and has released acclaimed records on 4AD and Touch, while Harmonic 313 is the dubstep and hip-hop-inspired alter ego of Mark Pritchard, and Herman Kolgen is a Canadian artist who will be presenting his live audio/visual pieces Inject and Dust at L.E.V.
