UK charity Bottletop and clothing brand Fenchurch have teamed up to present a new, star-studded charity album from The Bottletop Band.
Bottletop supports grass roots education projects, supporting initiatives in Malawi, Rwanda, Brazil, Mozambique and the UK, addressing such issues as sexual health, substance abuse and gender equality.
The Bottletop Band’s album, Dream Service, is helmed by Brazilian producer Mario Caldato, Jr., the man who’s engineered virtually everything the Beastie Boys have ever recorded. He’s joined by the likes of Carl Barat, Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys), Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Money Mark, VV Brown, Sam Sparro, Fink, Reverend and The Makers, Eliza Doolittle and Tim Burgess, along with a number of notable Brazilian musicians.
The release of Dream Service on April 11 will be preceded by a free download single, ‘Fall Of Rome’, featuring Barat and Babyshambles’ Drew McConnell. The Band are also expected to make a live appearance in the not too distant future.
