Urban Nerds will return to XOYO on March 26.
Headlining is breakbeat garage/jungle/crackhouse legend DJ Zinc, while Newham Generals get live with D Double E, Footsie and DJ Tubby all repping.
Further down the line-up you’ll find Hot City, Engine-Ears Experiment (live), and residents Rattus Rattus and Klose One. Perhaps most tantalizing though, is the Marcus Nasty presents… part of the line-up, where the Rinse FM resident and pretty much the prime minister of UK Funky curates a selection of his favourite acts.
Mak 10, Spyro, Scott ‘It’s a London Thing’ Garcia and Lil Nasty are all present, but we’re most excited about Sunday Roast and Jook 10, underground house and Funky artists who seem to release a new single every other week (they’re not all great, but when they’re on it, they’re really on it), and Live FM heros G Smalls and Krispy. Weeksey, and MCs Rankin, Shantie, Reepo and Jay Rusto complete the line-up.
