Junior Boys return on June 20 with a new studio album, It’s All True.

Jeremy Greenspan’s wrote and began recording the album in Shanghai, and features contributions from local musicians. He then returned to his native Hamilton, Ontario to develop and complete the work with Matt Didemus. The Canadian sessions took place in the band’s own recently built studio, where Greenspan mixed and recorded several tracks on Caribou’s Swim LP. The cover photo, taken by Greenspan’s sister, is of the UK pavilion in Shanghai (see above).

The album’s release will be preceded by a 12″/digital single, the 9-minute ‘Banana Ripple’, including remixes by The Field and, intriguingly, legendary disco tweaker Tom Moulton. Right now you can download album track ‘ep’ free from Domino here.
