Skudge – ‘Convolution’

Skudge will release their debut album, Phantom, via their own Skudge Records imprint next month.

The Swedish duo first emerged in late 2009, and spent the following year establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned via a series of tough yet supple, self-released techno productions – including the mighty roller ‘Convolution’ (stream above) – and remixes for the likes of Iori and Anthony ‘Shake’ Shakir.

“It took us about half a year to finish,” say Skudge of the LP. “We didn’t really follow any concept in this project, we just did what we did. Like usual it’s made mostly with analogue hardware and pre-mastered on the reel-to-reel recorder.”
