As regular readers will know, we’ve long been partial to the work of one-man bedroom-pop machine Blank Dogs.

Collected By Itself 2006-2009 brings ‘Dogs tracks from out-of-print singles, EPs, cassettes and compilations together in one handy, remastered 2xLP/CD/digital package. Most of the material is similarly lo-fi to that featured on his two albums of the period, On Two Sides (2008) and Under And Under (2009). None of it has ever appeared on CD before, and some of it never before on vinyl.

The compilation will be released on April 25 via Captured Tracks, the Brooklyn-based artist’s own label.
