This Friday, April 8, two of house and techno’s most loved play at London’s Southbank Centre.

Pantha du Prince is one of house music’s great romantics, with a sound driven by a love for chimes, field recordings and growling basslines. His 2007 album, This Bliss, is one of the best dance albums of recent times; last year’s follow up, Black Noise, is no slouch either. He’ll be playing with live visuals.

He’ll be joined by Apparat, fresh from the producer’s recent contribution to !K7’s DJ-Kicks series. As well as an acclaimed artist in his own right, Apparat’s known for his collaborations with Modeselektor, Ellen Allien and more, and like Pantha, will be playing with visual contributions – in this case, by Pfadfinderei.

Support comes from Walls, the duo of Allez Allez’s Sam Willis and Banjo or Freakout, who will release their second album this year for Kompakt.

As well as a pair of tickets, we’re giving away a copy of Apparat’s DJ-Kicks on vinyl. Mail us on competitions@thevinylfactory.com to enter.
