The new single to be taken from Hercules & Love Affair’s Blue Songs LP is the irresistible ‘Painted Eyes’.

It’s being released as a download on April 18 with remixes from Wolfram, Moonlight Matters and In Flagranti, the latter of which you can stream below. The esteemed New York disco duo give the original a chugging italo feel with up-down-up-down bassline, bonkers percussion and agreeably twee woodwind touches that put us in mind of Tantra’s classic ‘The Hills of Kathmandu’. It’s a proper dub, made for the club, and recommended.
