The latest Lanzarote event in London takes place on Saturday 14 May at Elektrowerkz, and promises to be a stormer.

Laurel Halo headlines, heralding her superb new EP of free-roaming techno-pop on Hippos In Tanks. She’s joined by two similarly adventurous electronic acts: Gatekeeper, who channel their love of horror soundtracks, goth-disco and EBM into a bracingly meaty, modern sound, and the wonderful Konx-Om-Pax, a sometime LuckyMe operative who takes his solo project name from an Aleister Crowley text and makes accordingly torrid, occult-charged music.

DJ support comes from Blawan of Hessle Audio and R&S fame, bringing his rip-roaring brand of steppers’ techno and acid, and Casper C (BleeD, Bloggers Delight).

We think this is going to be a very special night; visit the Facebook event page here for more info and tickets. We’ve actually got a pair of guestlist spots to give away, so if you fancy having ’em, email your name and the word ‘Lanzarote’ to competitions@thevinylfactory.com and you’ll be entered into the prize draw. Our winner will be notified on or before May 12.
