Randomer to return to Hemlock with new 12" of demented techno

Randomer, aka North London producer, Rohan Walder is returning to Hemlock with another collection of hissy-fit techno.

Untold’s Hemlock label have had a good few months, releasing Untold’s own exceptional Change In A Dynamic Environment triptych and, earlier this week, another cracker from the elusive Joe.  Following on from the ‘Scruff Box’/’Get Yourself Together’ 12″ on the label, Randomer is set to return to the fold with a new disc. ‘We Laugh We Scream’ is another 12″ release, and will feature three new cuts.

As demonstrated on his rollicking Jubilee FACT Mix, Walder specialises in lunatic, forceful techno. He might have flitted from label to label over the last few years, notching up releases on imprints as diverse as Tru Thoughts, Soul Jazz and Numbers, but his music has always been defined by its muscle. He really started dialling up the aggression on 2011’s ‘Real Talk’ 12″ for Numbers, and, on the relentless ‘Scruff Box’, refined the sound to the level of high art. The label promise “deranged acid breakbeat music” – we wouldn’t have expected, or wanted, anything less.

We Laugh We Scream is out on vinyl and digital on October 15. For the uninitiated, the bracing ‘Scruff Box’ is below. [via Juno Plus]
