The Analogue Cops revive Xenogears alias for Lost Artemis LP and remix EP featuring Madteo

Italian hardware enthusiasts The Analogue Cops are bringing back their original Xenogears alias for a full-length album next year.

Lucretio and Marieu have been turning out hardware-heavy techno and house on their Restoration label since 2007, but their breakthrough has come in the last couple of years through several collaborations – the deep house focused Third Side project with Panorama Bar resident Steffi, two EPs with UK techno boss Blawan under the name Parassela, and a split 12″ with Karenn (AKA Blawan and Pariah). Lucretio and Marieu’s debut LP as The Analogue Cops, Heavy Hands, came out earlier this year.

Now the pair have announced a return to their old Xenogears moniker for a new album due in the spring. Titled Lost Artemis, the record will be preceded by a four-track remix EP containing LP track ‘Multiverse’ and reworked versions from Third Side, NYC eccentric Madteo and Vinalog (the duo of EMG and John Swing).

Earlier in the year the duo launched another label, the vinyl-only Bratha. [via JunoPlus]
