It makes perfect sense.

After Skepta (and pretty much all of grime) got invited to flank Kanye West’s performance at the Brit Awards last week, the US-UK love-in looks set to continue in the studio.

Yesterday Kanye turned up at the Adidas Store on Carnaby Street in central London to give away a few pairs of his Yeezy Boost kicks, and revealed to fans that he’s been recording with Skepta during his whirlwind trip to the UK.

As RWD Mag reports, he also chatted to them about his new single ‘All Day’, which features his new pal Paul McCartney on acoustic guitar and was revealed in its studio version today.

Meanwhile Skepta has just unveiled his new single ‘Shutdown’, which samples Drake’s hilarious “truss mi daddi” Vine in a nod to the Toronto rapper cribbing from ‘That’s Not Me’ on his recent track with Lil Wayne. It’s a beautiful thing.

Update: Kanye’s London infatuation continues — he’ll be at KOKO tonight for a surprise show. Tickets are moving fast.
