Hamburg DJ and producer Helena Hauff has confirmed the first release on her Return To Disorder label.

News of the label has been floating around for a few months now – in a recent interview with FACT she explained that the name was inspired by an First World War art movement. Now she’s confirmed details of the label’s first release in an interview with Juno Plus.

“I just met so many great and talented people on my journeys that I felt the need to create a platform for those artists,” she explains of her motivations for starting the label. “At the beginning I thought that it was a bit pointless starting yet another label, there are so many great ones out there already but then I realized that there’s no label combining psych-rock and techno stuff really (fuck knows if it’s gonna work). And I thought if I’m really excited about something I may as well release it!”

In keeping with the label’s focus, the label’s debut will be from Leicester-based psych-rock band Children Of Leir. Though Hauff will initially be using the label for the music of other artists to begin with, she said she intends to use the label to release her own material in the future. The label’s second release will be from Athens producer Morah.

The four-track Children Of Leir EP will be released in early July. You can listen to a track from the record below.

It’s not the only project Hauff has in the pipeline – last week she announced details of her debut album for Werkdiscs.

Tracklist:

A1. Shapes Of Sleep
A2. Drowned In Fear
B1. Seed Of Doubt
B2. Elixir
