San Francisco based collective Honey Soundsystem are releasing a new EP from one of the group’s founding members, Bézier.

The crew of DJs, musicians, designers and performers was originally formed by Ken Woodard and Jacob Sperber in 2006. From 2008-2013, they hosted a now legendary weekly Sunday night party in San Francisco, before re-launching their record label last year with a pair of EPs.

The Cosmologist EP, due out on their eponymous label, features three tracks from Bézier, aka saxophonist Robert Yang, which have been inspired by everything from Japanese anime theme songs to Charlie Parker’s jazz solos.

Honey Soundsystem are also throwing a pride party in LA on June 10 called Flaming Man, hosted by Jackie House, along with Bézier. [via RA]

The collective is currently made up of Jason Kendig, P-Play aka Jackie House, Robot Hustle aka Beziér and Dark Entries boss Josh Cheon.
