“Women make the world go round.”

Novelist has swapped the tough-as-nails bars of ‘Hoax’ and ‘Street Politician’ for a slice of romance on smooth new R&B-inspired jam ‘Girls Around The World’.

The Lewisham MC introduced the self-produced track as his “first ever love song” during its debut on livestreaming app Periscope last night (August 9), before launching into a rap about a south London love affair.

Nov explained that the song is on SoundCloud for now but will see an official release in the future. He said that he is currently working on his new album but didn’t reveal any details. “The focus is the fans right now.”

Back in June, the politically-minded south London grime MC – who in 2012 became Lewisham’s 9th deputy young mayor – tweeted his support for the Labour party, while also urging Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn not to resign.
