The simple DJ app is free until November 28.

Pioneer DJ has released an iPhone version of its recent WeDJ app, which gives mobile users the chance to get familiar with the basics of DJing on their phone.

WeDJ was originally launched for iPad in September, and the iPhone version has all the same features in a smaller form.

As well as simulating a classic DJ experience with turntables and crossfader, it also includes contemporary features and effects including a scrubbable waveforms, sync button, cue points, loops and a sampler.

The app’s regular price is €0.99, but it’s available for free until November 28 from the App Store – perfect for Christmas party season. If you want a controller to go with it, Pioneer DJ launched the DDJ-WeGO4 earlier this year as well.

Pioneer’s WeDJ isn’t the only app available for quick and easy party DJing. Earlier this year Serato launched the Pyro app, which does the mixing for you. Check out how WeDJ works in the video below.
