Skepta rounds off a career-defining year with the release of a new documentary, Greatness Only.

The Apple Music and Beats 1 collaboration will focus on the Tottenham MC’s decade-long rise through the ranks, tracing his initial steps in the UK grime scene and his Mercury prize win to his global grip on music.

Told by those closest to him, including sister Julie Adenuga, the documentary will be available to stream on Apple Music on Monday December 19. Watch the trailer below.

What with winning the Mercury in September, selling out Alexandra Palace and collaborating with Riff Raff (actually, that bit is probably worth forgetting), 2016 has been a pretty big year for Skepta, who also revealed last month that he is making a grime film about Boy Better Know.

Watch highlights from Skepta’s Alexandra Palace concert here and make sure you tune into BBC One on Christmas day to see the Tottenham MC Skepta perform on TOTP – if only to explain grime to your gran.
