He’s confirmed his identity and back catalog.

Among the impressive production credits for Kendrick Lamar’s brand new album DAMN. is the name Bekon, which pops up seven times, making him and TDE boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith the most active producers on the album.

While the résumés of people like DJ Dahi, Sounwave, Terrace Martin and, of course, Mike Will Made It are well-known, Bekon’s was a bit of mystery.

Turns out he is producer Daniel Tannenbaum, Pitchfork confirms, who formerly went by the moniker Danny Keyz. He’s done tracks on albums like Eminem’s The Recovery, Snoop Dogg’s Doggumentary and RZA’s Digi Snacks, among others.

Bekon’s work appears on tracks ‘BLOOD.’, ‘YAH.’, ‘ELEMENT.’, ‘PRIDE.’, ‘XXX.’ (the track featuring U2), ‘GOD.’ and ‘DUCKWORTH’. Check out the full album – and its creditshere.
