Listen to Barker & Baumecker’s throbbing rework of the title track.

Three tracks from Delia Gonzalez’s Horse Follows Darkness album are to be remixed for a new 12” on DFA Records.

Ostgut Ton’s Barker and Baumecker, PAN regular Heatsick and dreamy house producer Bryce Hackford have reworked music from the Cuban-American artist’s second solo album, which is released through DFA on May 5.

Hardware techno duo Barker and Baumecker – who last year released their second album, Turns – have transformed the album’s delicate title track for the club. Opening track ‘In Through the Light’ is remixed by both Heatsick and Bryce Hackford, who also reworked Gonzalez’s 2015 album In Remembrance.

Barker & Baumecker’s remix is released digitally today (May 3), with the rest following in the next few weeks. Listen to the Berlin duo’s rework below and listen to Gonzalez’s recent FACT mix, which sees her combine minimalism with disco classics.
