The immersive audiovisual work expands on ideas explored in his acclaimed data-verse project.

Ryoji Ikeda’s data-cosm [n°1] installation is returning to 180 Studios for a second run due to popular demand.

Commissioned by 180 Studios and originally premiered in 2025, data-cosm [n°1] uses vast nature datasets to create an immersive audiovisual installation, drawing on everything from the microscopic world of particle physics to the macroscopic scale of astrophysics.

The installation is a full sensory experience that invites visitors to lie down beneath a huge LED ceiling while being enveloped by Ikeda’s soundscapes. It expands on ideas first explored in his acclaimed data-verse project, which interrogated the intersection of art and physics across a trilogy of works.

data-cosm [n°1] runs from 14 October to 20 December, 2026. Tickets for the exhibition are available now from the 180 Studios website.
