Win Cosmin TRG t-shirt designed by Give Up Art

This week sees the release on Tempa of a new 2×12″ set, Now You Know, by Cosmin TRG.

Cosmin, who you probably know best as simply TRG, is one of the more interesting and outward-looking dubstep producers to have come up in the past few years, and recently he’s taken to the sounds of UK funky and mutant house with real gusto. Now You Know finds him showcasing his own unique take on the sound, leading with the ravey shuffle of ‘Twilight Riddim’. Every track on the release sounds fat and fully-realised, with diverse rhythms and squelchy synth textures throughout. Check out clips and buy here.

To celebrate the release, we’re giving away three limited edition Now You Know T-shirts. The eye-catching design is by Stuart Hammersley of Give Up Art, the man responsible for the visual identities of Rinse, FWD>>, Tempa and Apple Pips among others, and co-creator of Bleep’s recent North/South/East/West art+music box set.

    With its centuries-old tradition, you’d think the sporran was untouchable. But sporran wearers got a shock recently. New legislation introduced in Scotland this year required wearers to have licenses for their sporrans. The law is meant to protect endangered species such as otters whose fur is sometimes used to make sporrans.
