We have rather a lot of affection for Paleman’s jacking, granular ‘Hunt’.

Over the weekend, the Manchester producer revealed a snatch of new track ‘Slouch’, and it offers an interesting twist on his knotty sound. The track, trailed as “a little booty thing I did”, is a spirited piece of hydraulic house; the samples are as tangled and prickly as ever, but Paleman substitutes the swing of ‘Hunt’ for an 808-happy house strut.
