Microhouse pioneer and Perlon boss Zip celebrates Fabric 67 next month with Craig Richards and Baby Ford

The latest in Fabric’s fabled mix series comes from Thomas Franzmann, better known as Zip.

As the co-founder of the legendary Perlon records, Franzmann is responsible for discovering and evangelising some of the most innovative house music of the past 15 years, and playing a central role in the formation of the microhouse sound. His own productions keep to a similar standard, with releases under a variety of aliases – most notably Dimbiman, and in duo with Sammy Dee as Pantytec – are among the most brilliant and coveted in the genre.

Fabric 67: Zip is due for release on December 1. Franzmann will celebrate with a launch party at Fabric on the same day, with support from Fabric resident Craig Richards, UK acid house pioneer Baby Ford and a live set from Akufen under his Horror Inc. alias.
