Diddy’s production collective has a new member.

The Bad Boy boss is back behind the boards alongside members of The Hitmen, the production supergroup responsible for most of the label’s mega hits in the ’90s and early ’00s. The Hitmen also have a notable new addition: Kanye West.

Kanye joins Chucky Thompson, Deric “D-Dot” Angelettie, Steven “Stevie J” Jordan, Mario Winans and Nashiem Myrick in the hit-making collective. The supergroup will help Diddy record new album Money Making Mitch, his first full-length project since 2010’s Last Train To Paris.

This isn’t the first time Kanye and Puff have worked together. In a 2012 interview with Urban Daily, members of The Hitmen described their long working relationship with West.

“[Kanye] watched Chucky and Stevie and got to see it for himself,” D-Dot revealed, “and now he’s the new producer for the new generation, but he came from Bad Boy College and got that tutelage!”

Diddy also has a production credit on Kanye’s most recent single, ‘All Day’. [via Complex]
