The UK’s estimable Digital Soundboy label is throwing a hefty party at XOYO in London on Friday 19 November.
Label boss Shy FX headlines, and there’s plenty of drum ‘n bass guaranteed from this star of the genre, but the rest of the line-up reflects the diversity of the label’s output, touching on funky, dubstep, garage and much else besides. Breakage, one of the label’s brightest talents, channels d’n’b, dubstep and ruffneck grime into a unique rudeboy sound all his own, while Toddla T and Redlight are set to team up for a no-holds-barred b2b set, while 2-step legend MJ Cole saunters in to deliver one of his devastating house-rooted sets. Dubstep perennials Hatcha and Youngsta bring more bass-wise thrills and spills, while there’s a live set from UKF warbler Donae’o, reggae from Earl Gateshead and additional turns from B.Traits, Roses Gabor, System, Seb Chew, Leo Greenslade and, curiously enough, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly.
Tickets are £8/£12 and £15 OTD; get yours, and find more information, here. Download an exclusive Redlight remix of Breakage here.
