On October 13, Urban Nerds welcome a host of UK dance illuminati to Bristol.

2-step/jungle/breakbeat titan DJ Zinc is the illustrious special guest. The man behind ‘138 Trek’ and ‘Wile Out’ knows a thing or two about cobbling together a dancefloor destroyer, and he’s similarly reliable as a selector. He’ll be joined by The Murkle Man himself, Jammer. The Big Dada affiliate is always a lively toaster, and will be showcasing his prodigious variant of grime and UK hip-hop. Rinse’s resident jungle curator Uncle Dugs will also keep things up-tempo and on point.

Marcus Nasty will be bringing some ruffneck magic, and reliable veteran Tayo is also on board. Rattus Rattus, Dubious, Fire Man Sam, Shantie, Koast, Daddy Nature and the pleasantly named Arsequake round out the bill.

The night runs from 10.00pm until 6.00am. Head here for tickets and further information.

Urban Nerds also have an assortment of goodies to give away. One lucky FACT reader can bag the following: tickets for you and three friends to the night; a copy of Uncle Dugs’ latest mix CD for Rinse; and an Urban Nerds T-shirt to boot. To win, ping an email through to competitions@thevinylfactory.com, including your name and ‘Bristol Urban Nerds’ in the title field.
