Kelly Rowland's new album Talk A Good Game to feature Beyoncé, Pharrell, The-Dream, and more

The former Destiny’s Child singer readies her fourth album for a June release.

Formerly titled Year of the Woman, Rowland’s Talk A Good Game is now due out on June 4 via Universal’s Republic Records. In an interview with Billboard, the singer opened up about what to expect from the album.

After recording “around 70-something songs,” Rowland narrowed it down to a more manageable twelve. Confirmed producers include hitmakers Mike WILL Made It (‘Kisses Down Low’, below), The-Dream (she’s also slated to appear on his new album), Boi-1da, T-Minus, and Pharrell. The latter (who is everywhere these days) also sings on a duet, and Wiz Khalifa appears elsewhere.

The most intriguing guests are her Destiny’s Child compatriots, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams. However, unlike this year’s Pharrell-produced ‘Nuclear’, Rowland says, “It’s not a Destiny’s Child track, it’s me featuring Beyoncé and Michelle.” At the very least, it will be interesting to hear a bit of Destiny’s Child role-reversal.
