The Oslo up-and-comer supercharges Miguel’s formerly subdued drug ballad.

As he has on remixes of Lana Del Rey, Jeremih, and Drake (and on his own material for Pelican Fly), Cashmere Cat infuses Miguel’s ‘Do You…’ with the maximilist sensibilities of contemporaries like Lockah and TNGHT. At first, this means the addition of crystalline synths, but quickly the remix escalates into a wide-pupilled explosion of big room builds and trap-EDM percussion. Somehow, Miguel’s gentle melody isn’t lost in the mix, which is a tribute to Cashmere Cat’s talent.
