‘Cold Water’ is the first single taken from Major Lazer’s fourth studio album Music Is the Weapon.

After teasing the announcement on Twitter earlier this month, last night (May 30) Diplo confirmed the release of a new Major Lazer song featuring Justin Bieber, with the addition of Danish singer/songwriter MØ.

The Major Lazer co-founder hasn’t shared a release date for ‘Cold Water’ as yet – which is taken from the trio’s forthcoming album Music Is the Weapon, due out later this year – but said it will premiere on Beats 1 in “a couple of weeks.”

Diplo and Skrillex, who together make up the duo Jack Ü, released our favourite track of 2015 in ‘Where Are Ü Now?, while Major Lazer and DJ Snake released the song ‘Lean On,’ featuring MØ.
