Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder bashes are always a highlight of London’s clubbing calendar.

This year’s instalment looked to be no different, with Thundercat, Lapalux, The Gaslamp Killer and Kutmah all set to take over the Brixton Academy on November 3.

However, it’s been announced today that the night – timed to celebrate the launch of FlyLo’s new LP, Until The Quiet Comes – has had to be postponed until next year due to “availability issues”.  A statement from the man himself reads: “the team is strong, so when we do a Brainfeeder all-nighter in London, we ALL need to be in there…if we’re gonna do it, we are gonna do it right”.

As such, a replacement album launch event has been announced at The Troxy on November 16. Full details have yet to be confirmed, but we’re told to expect “support from friends and family”.

Tickets already bought for the Brixton show aren’t transferrable to the new event, but will be refunded automatically by the seller. You can pick up tickets for the Troxy event here.
